Drake and Josh

Drake & Josh is an American television sitcom created by Dan Schneider forNickelodeon. The series follows the lives of two teenage boys with opposing personalities, Drake Parker (Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (Josh Peck), who become step-brothers. Both actors had played previous roles in The Amanda Show along with Nancy Sullivan, who plays Audrey, Drake and Megan's mother of the series. Miranda Cosgrove plays Audrey's daughter, Megan, Drake's mischievous younger sister and Jonathan Goldstein plays Walter, Josh's father. The series' opening theme song I Found a Way is written by Drake Bell and Backhouse Mike and performed by Drake Bell. The series ran for four seasons and 57 episodes from January 11, 2004 to September 16, 2007. There were also three TV films: Drake & Josh Go Hollywood premiered on Friday, January 6, 2006; Really Big Shrimp premiered on Friday, August 3, 2007; and Merry Christmas, Drake & Joshpremiered on Friday, December 5, 2008. There are currently reruns of the series on Nickelodeon.

2013 UEFA Champions League Final

The 2013 UEFA Champions League Final will be the final match of the 2012–13 UEFA Champions League, the 58th season of Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 21st season since it was renamed from the European Champion Clubs' Cup to the UEFA Champions League. The match is scheduled for Saturday, 25 May 2013 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

The final will be played between two German teams, Bundesliga clubs Borussia Dortmundand Bayern Munich. This is the first time that two German clubs have reached the UEFA Champions League final. The winners will play against the winners of the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League in the 2013 UEFA Super Cup, and also enter the semi-finals of the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup as the UEFA representative.

Michael Jackson " King of pop "

American superstar Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, on August 29, 1958, and entertained audiences nearly his entire life. His father,Joe Jackson, had been a guitarist but was forced to give up his musical ambitions following his marriage to Katherine (Scruse). Together they prodded their growing family's musical interests at home. By the early 1960s, the older boys Jackie, Tito and Jermaine had begun performing around the city; by 1964, Michael and Marlon had joined in.

A musical prodigy, Michael's singing and dancing talents were amazingly mature, and he soon became the dominant voice and focus of TheJackson 5. An opening act for such soul groups as the O-Jays and James Brown, it was Gladys Knight (not Diana Ross) who officially brought the group to Berry Gordy's attention, and by 1969, the boys were producing back-to-back chart-busting hits as Motown artists ("I Want You Back," "ABC," "Never Can Say Goodbye," "Got to Be There," etc.). As a product of the 1970s, the boys emerged as one of the most accomplished black pop/soul vocal groups in music history, successfully evolving from a group like The Temptations to a disco phenomenon.

Solo success for Michael was inevitable, and by the 1980s, he had become infinitely more popular than his brotherly group. Record sales consistently orbited, culminating in the biggest-selling album of all time, "Thriller" in 1982. A TV natural, he ventured rather uneasily into films, such as playing the Scarecrow in El mago (1978), but had much better luck with elaborate music videos.

In the 1990s, the downside as an 1980s pop phenomenon began to rear itself. Michael grew terribly child-like and introverted by his peerless celebrity. A rather timorous, androgynous figure to begin with, his physical appearance began to change drastically, and his behavior grew alarmingly bizarre, making him a consistent target for scandal-making, despite his numerous charitable acts. Two brief marriages -- one to Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie Presley -- were forged and two children produced by his second wife during that time, but the purposes behind them appeared image-oriented. Despite it all, Michael Jackson's passion and artistry as a singer, dancer, writer and businessman are unparalleled, and it is these prodigious talents that will ultimately prevail over the extremely negative aspects of his seriously troubled adult life.

For it all to end on June 25, 2009, with his sudden death at age 50 of a drug-induced cardiac arrest, just as he was coming out of a four-year reclusive period and rehearsing for a sold-out London concert "comeback" in July, seems uncommonly cruel and tragic. Millions upon millions of dedicated fans will remember where they were "the day Michael died".

‘Iron Man 3′ Breaks Records, 2nd Biggest Domestic Opening Weekend

Iron Man 3 is reporting a huge international number playing in 52 territories as of today and 54 by the end of the weekend. The film began its international rollout on April 24, opening #1 in every territory and setting the biggest opening weekend of all time in Latin America and Asia Pacific and the biggest opening of 2013 in Europe. Then this week the film benefitted from the important May Day holiday in the international marketplace, breaking records in China Thursday of $21.5M. In the People’s Republic Of China, the official number which local distributor DMG Entertainment is reporting for Iron Man 3 midnight and opening-day results (as of closing day May 2) is $18,657,142 USD (SARFT/CFG, or 117,540,000 RMB). But this number wasn’t final as there were still outstanding cinemas which had not reported their box office earnings. So the estimated final opening-day box office is actually $21.5M. Special scenes were reserved for Chinese distribution by the film’s co-producers, Disney-owned Marvel Entertainment and Beijing-based DMG Entertainment. Those special scenes reserved for Chinese audiences were not well received. For instance, Chinese product placement included the energy milk drink Gu Li Duo on sale for $1 a carton across convenience stores as well as a new character named Dr Wu played by mainland actor Wang Xueqi. All the four minutes of additional sequences revolve around Chinese characters including scenes of hero Tony Stark being treated by a Chinese doctor in a mix of surgery and acupuncture.
